Hudson Falls barber wants to win a 'Barber Grammy'
HUDSON FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Small town, big influence. That's the goal for a local barber who owns a shop in Hudson Falls. Nathan Ross, CEO of Nate's Barbershop, is on a mission to bring back a Barber Grammy to his community.
The Barber Grammy awards are featured at the CT Barber Expo. Ross is nominated in the "Positive Influencer of the Year 2" category.
In addition to cutting hair, Ross often looks for ways to give back to his town, including giving free haircuts and school supplies to kids headed back to the classroom after summer break.
Ross said his rough upbringing has inspired him to forge a path of success and encourage others to do the same. You can vote for him online.
