Justin Bieber's Team Issues Statement on Allegations
This week, several former members of Justin Bieber's team expressed concern about the pop sensation and his financial situation in an article published by The Hollywood Reporter. Now, the pop sensation's team has broken its silence on the story.
The article from The Hollywood Reporter, published on Wednesday, claimed that Bieber is millions of dollars in debt following the 2023 cancellation of his Justice World Tour and that he had stretched himself thin financially. In the article, several people who were formerly close to Bieber expressed concern about his well-being.
This week, Bieber's team broke its silence on the article, calling it "clickbait stupidity" that included "inaccurate assumptions."
“This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and clearly ill-informed — ‘sources,’ disappointed that they no longer work with Justin,” Bieber's team said in a statement to Us Weekly. “As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”
This comes after Bieber's rather concerning and unusual social media activity.
Last month, Bieber posted an unusual message to his Instagram story in which he seemingly admitted that he had unacknowledged "hate" that was causing him to feel like he was "drowning."
“I was always told when I was a kid not to hate. But it made me feel like I wasn’t allowed to have it and so I didn’t tell anyone I’ve had it,” he wrote in the post on March 16. “Which made me feel like I have been drowning feeling unsafe to acknowledge it. I think we can only let hate go by first acknowledging it’s there. How couldn’t we feel hate from all of the hurt we have experienced?”
This post came just a few days after he made a different cryptic post on his Instagram story on March 13 in which he admitted that he has always felt “unworthy” of his success and felt like a “fraud.”
Bieber made yet another cryptic post on social media just a few days later, admitting in an Instagram post that he had "anger issues" but is trying not to "react so much."
"I got anger issues too, but I wanna grow and not react so much smh," Bieber wrote in the caption of his post on Instagram.
Bieber has since been seen publicly at the Coachella Music Festival in the California Desert, where he had a few run-ins with the paparazzi.
