Pedro Pascal Reviews Ryan Coogler's 'Sinners' with Blunt 9-Word Message
Ever since the latest "major spoiler alert" episode of HBO's The Last of Us aired on April 20, seemingly leaving fans in a state of utter disbelief while also offering high praise, the rapidly rising star that is Pedro Pascal has been all over social media.
One of the refreshing aspects regarding the 50-year-old actor is that he appears to maintain a very candid and honest approach to the movie and television work he's either done, or approached about, despite his high profile.
And that would be no different when it comes to Pascal's extremely straightforward movie reviews—at least when it comes to Ryan Coogler's Sinners, which saw its theatrical release on April 18.

"Shut the f--k up and go see this movie," Pascal posted to his Instagram page regarding Sinners, with an accompanying photo from the film of Hailee Steinfeld and Michael B. Jordan.
Sometimes that's really all you need to say in recommending a movie you've truly enjoyed.
And for someone like Pascal, who has 9.7 million followers on Instagram alone, there's a strong chance he's sending a whole lot of people to the movie theater sooner than later.
But even without that awesome push from Pascal, the R-rated Sinners is already cruising along in truly impressive fashion, pulling in $45 million domestically over its opening weekend while also becoming the first horror movie in history to earn an "A" CinemaScore.
In addition to Pascal, LeBron James also chimed in with a glowing review of the Coogler's new film, albeit in a much more extensive way.
Though, regardless, it certainly feels like a universally-crowned, must-see movie of the year.
My brothers Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan did it again!!! ABSOLUTE INCREDIBLE FILM! Ryan, Thank you for allowing My Queen, I, family and friends to screen it. 10/10 movie! Make sure y’all go check out “SINNERS” tomorrow! It’s a MUST SEE!!!!!! ???????????????????????????????????????? pic.twitter.com/7rLhG7t8El

As of now, Sinners has a 98% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and a 97% score from the masses.
It's relatively rare for critics and moviegoers to be so closely aligned on a film and also pretty rare to see scores that high.
Based on all of that, the best course of action might be to just take Pascal's blunt advice and simply go see the movie.
