Scott Police advise locking cars due to increased thefts
SCOTT, La. (KLFY) -- Scott Police Department advises residents to make sure their vehicles are locked due to the rise of theft.
Earlier this month, Scott police said they responded to multiple vehicle burglaries throughout the area.
During the investigation, authories were to able apprehend several juveniles on alleged thefts in the south in to the city, authorities said.
Police said these suspects admit to committing multiple burglaries but the victims did not wish to press charges.
At the moment, Scott police said they are investigating a burglary that occurred on the north end of the city.
