The Habitat 6 Warm White Rattan Effect Solar String Lights, which are £17 more expensive than the Home Bargains buy comes with four less lights than the budget version.
The Argos buy is also solar powered, and can run for eight hours when fully charged.
Shoppers have also been raving about Home Bargains’ Firefly 3 Pack Hot Air Balloon Solar Light, also priced at £7.99.
One eagle-eyed shopper spotted the bargain buys and posted about them in the popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group — sparking a frenzy among fellow bargain hunters.
