Pedro Pascal Has a Two-Word Description of J.K. Rowling
Pedro Pascal didn't hold back his thoughts of "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling, that's for sure.
Earlier this month, Rowling went viral for celebrating the U.K. Supreme Court's ruling that only biological females should be considered women. She posted a photo on social media of her smoking a cigar and holding up a class of wine along with this message: "I love it when a plan comes together."
Rowling, who hasn't been shy about her opinion of transgenders, received a lot of backlash for that post. Popular activist Tariq Raouf didn't just call her out, he asked people to consider boycotting the "Harry Potter" franchise.
"She’s so cocky about getting the same royalties ... whether you burn or read a Harry Potter book," Raouf said in a video posted on Instagram. "So I think it has become our mission to — as the general public — to make sure that every single thing that’s ‘Harry Potter’-related fails."
Pascal left a telling comment on this post from Raouf. Let's just say he's not a fan of Rowling's behavior.
Pascal referred to Rowling as a "heinous loser" in his message. Judging by the replies, countless people are taking his side in this feud.
"Awful disgusting S--T is exactly right," Pascal commented. "Heinous LOSER behavior."
Pascal has been a huge supporter of the transgender community, which his sister Lux is a part of. Earlier this week, he showed up to the "Thunderbolts*" premiere in London with a shirt that said, "Protect the Dolls." That's a reference to transgender women.
Lux Pascal and the transgender community have been very appreciative of "The Last of Us" actor's support, make no mistake about it.
