3 Common White Lies Women Tell Men While Dating
Honesty isn't always the best policy, at least when it comes to some people in the dating world.
While it theoretically would be great if everyone was 100 percent honest all the time, we know that it doesn't happen. People lie for all sorts of reasons in the dating world, but usually, it's to avoid really hurting someone's feelings. You don't want to be so honest that you offend someone, obviously.
Professional dating coach Blaine Anderson has opened up about three common "white lies" that women will tell men in the dating world.
Anderson, the founder of Dating by Blaine, sounded off on the white lies in a recent Instagram Reel.
Blaine Anderson.
Anderson, who has close to one million followers on Instagram, revealed three common "white lies" that women will tell men while they are dating.
1. "I don't want to ruin our friendship."
This is a common one in the dating world, especially when someone in the friend group is pursuing someone else in the friend group.
While the idea of not wanting to "ruin" a friendship is nice, Anderson says that it's almost always a lie.
Instead, the woman is simply telling the man that she isn't attracted to him.
2. "I'm so bad at texting."
No one is actually bad at texting, they just only respond to people that they're legitimately interested in.
If someone isn't responding to you and claiming that it's because they're a poor texter, it just means that they're not really interested in you.
3. "I don't post who I date on social media."
While this might be true of some celebrities or public figures, for everyone else, it just means that they're not 100 percent confident in the relationship yet.

Anderson says that it's very important to pay attention to actions and not words in the dating world.
"More concisely: pay attention to deeds, not words. Powerful tip for dating and life generally!!" she says.
