Jelly Roll Wants to Do 'Crazy' Things Once He Hits His Goal Weight
Jelly Roll has a long list of things he wants to do once he hits his goal weight—and some of them are pretty crazy.
The country singer has been open about his ongoing weight loss plans, but once he gets under 250 pounds, a whole new world will open up for him, he explained during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
"For the non-fluffy people in the world, I would give y'all some educational course here,” the singer said on the late-night show. “To do all the fun stuff in life, you've got to be under 250 [pounds].”
He then gave a rundown of some of the adventurous things he plans to do once he dips below that weight. “I want to skydive; I want to ride a roller coaster. I want to ride a bull,” he told Kimmel. “I know it sounds crazy. I want to wrestle an alligator. I've got a list of things that I want to do."
Kimmel joked that after all of his hard work to lose weight, Jelly planned to do stunts that could kill him. "Ain't that great?!" the singer replied.
Jelly Roll weighed nearly 550 pounds at his heaviest. “I've been fat my whole life," he revealed during a 2022 appearance on The Bobby Jones Show. "[My mom] started calling me Jelly Roll when I was young, and I spent the next 20 years trying to grow into the name.”
He has since lost almost 200 pounds. “I started at 540 pounds,” the “Save Me” singer said on the Big Night AHT live show in early April. “I’m 357 pounds [as of] this morning, baby!”
