What is the Plot for MobLand Episode 5?
As the title of this episode suggests, most of the story revolves around the family, including Harry (Tom Hardy) attending the funeral of Tommy Stevenson, whom Eddie Harrigan (Anson Boon) murdered in the first episode. Now, presumably, the leader of the Stevenson family, Richie (Geoff Bell), has bought into the lie that Harry created; that the club owner killed Tommy, not Eddie.
But, with the entire family getting invited the the funeral, there's clearly a bigger game being played. Here's the official synopsis from Paramount+:
"Kevin and Harry assess scenarios in a search for insurance and an exit strategy. Looking for a way back in, Brendan approaches Seraphina. Left to their own devices, Bella and Jan commiserate. Richie makes a proposal. Maeve, in her element, strikes."
All of these developments are important, but the one twist is something that nobody will see coming. And after this episode, the show won't be the same anymore.
