Clear skies tonight in Lafayette; dense fog to affect commute
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) - Skies clear tonight as high humidity sets in. Temperatures hold in the upper 60s through the overnight hours. Patchy dense fog is likely to form and could impact your morning commute.
Monday will see sun and clouds mixing as temperatures jump into the upper 80s during the afternoon. Winds kick up during the afternoon and could be fairly gusty. Rain is not expected.
This week will see pretty quiet conditions through Wednesday before a cold front settles southward Thursday and Friday. Scattered storms will develop each afternoon and that should help knock daytime high temperatures down a few degrees. By the weekend, rain chances back off and temperatures climb once again.
