Kylie Jenner Is Still Grieving the Loss of Jesus Guerrero
Kylie Jenner is still mourning her late friend and hairstylist Jesus Guerrero, who died unexpectedly in February at the age of 34. On Sunday, two months after his death, Jenner posted a video of the duo at the 2024 CFDA Awards to her Instagram Story, writing, “Found this video from that day. I thought I could get through today without crying, but the ache of missing you hit all over again.”
“Grief isn’t getting easier, it’s getting lonelier,” she added. “I miss you so much. Why aren’t you here? Every first without you hurts.”
Guerrero’s cause of death is still unknown, but his sister told Us Weekly earlier this month that he had been diagnosed with gastritis in the months leading up to his passing. Guerrero had made a name for himself among Hollywood’s A-list celebrities, counting Jennifer Lopez, Rosalía, Dua Lipa, Katy Perry, and Jenner among his regular clientele.
In the wake of his death, Jenner, who worked with Guerrero for nearly a decade and was also a close friend, reportedly helped coordinate getting his body back to Houston, where his family is based. Per TMZ, she also reportedly funded the entirety of his memorial service. In a post shortly after his death, she described him as “a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support.” She added, “Your words, your laughter, your kindness, your beautiful spirit will live in my heart forever.”
