Nike’s Classic Air Force 1 Is Ready for Summer in ‘Pink Foam’ With 3D Logos
Pink is going to be a go-to color for Nike this summer, but it’s not the magenta-leaning “Barbie Pink” shade that couldn’t be avoided in recent years.
Instead, the brand is betting big on “Pink Foam,” a more muted, soft shade of pink with a washed-out appearance. In addition to the highly anticipated “Pink Foam” Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble women’s exclusive colorway, another classic Nike sneaker is on the way which uses the color even more liberally.
With a full colorway of “Pink Foam/White/Hot Lava,” this new Nike Air Force 1 Low women’s exclusive is set for a wide roll out at retailers this summer, but it can already be purchased from select stockists.
The new Nike Air Force 1 Low features a fully “Pink Foam” upper which mixes tumbled and smooth leather textures and adds some three-dimensional detailing to the shoe’s Swoosh logos and heel Nike Air emblem. The pair also features Nike’s recycled rubber midsole and outsole, which could make it part of the brand’s Next Nature line, but that aspect has not yet been confirmed.
This isn’t the first time Nike has applied “Pink Foam” to the Air Force 1. In March, Drake’s Nocta brand released a “Certified Lover Boy” Air Force 1 Low in the same shade, but that style featured different materials and details.
Readers can expect this Nike Air Force 1 Low “Pink Foam,” which has a SKU of HF2014-600, to begin arriving at more retailers as the weather continues to warm up but for those can’t wait, there are select sizes available now from Shiekh, and they’re even discounted from their original retail price of $125 to $100.
Note that this release is in women’s sizing, which converts to a one-and-a-half size difference for men.
