Mule style shoes have been popular over the last few years. This notably kicked into the public consciousness in a big way in 2015 when Gucci released its Princeton mule designed by Alessandro Michele In 2015. They became a cornerstone of the company’s footwear business. Since then, many brands have dropped mules in a variety of heights and designs. Schiaparelli recently offered surrealist-style mules with an upper moulded to appear like toes. Others have offered tall stiletto styles.
“Anora” star Mikey Madison wore a pair of furry mules for an appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” during her press tour for her award season campaign. Jennifer Lopez had on an open-toe stiletto mule featuring a PVC upper from Femme Los Angeles while she was in Saudi Arabia for Formula 1 in April.
