I’m 55 but my legs make me look 30 years younger – here’s my FREE nightly 15-minute ritual that keeps my pins youthful
A 55-YEAR-OLD influencer has revealed how she shaves 30 years off her appearance simply by taking extra care of her legs.
Sue Giers, a fashion designer and PR expert, says she has “legs like a 25-year-old” thanks to her daily 15-minute ritual that keeps her lower limbs looking youthful.
The mum-of-three swears by having glamorous pins as the secret weapon in her anti-ageing routine.
She credits her toned, ageless legs as a key part of her overall strategy to defy the effects of time.
Taking to Instagram in a now-viral video, Sue shared her six unique hacks “to keep her legs looking fabulous” – and there’s one ritual she swears by at the end of every day.
“After a long day, I lie down and elevate my legs against the wall for 15 minutes,” she revealed.
“This reduces swelling and promotes better circulation.”
Her second unique tip is to have “alternating showers”, which means switching the water between hot and cold.
She claimed that this is a “game changer” because it enhances blood flow to firm up the skin on her pins.
Sue also eats a high-fibre diet to give her leg skin a boost.
“Lots of fruits, veggies, and whole grains help reduce water retention, keeping my legs lean and toned,” she explained.
Her fourth unique tip is to put time aside for hair removal every night.
“I always shave or wax in the evening,” she said.
“This allows any irritation to subside overnight, so I wake up with silky smooth legs.”
When hair removal doesn’t totally do it, Sue also puts make-up on her legs to contour them.
“A little make-up magic goes a long way,” she recommended.
Sue's 6 Step Leg Plan
- Elevate your legs against a wall for 15 minutes every night
- Alternate your shower temperature between hot and cold
- Shave or wax your lower limbs every night
- Eat a high-fibre diet to boost your skin
- Exfoliate with a homemade coffee scrub
- Use bronzer along the sides of your legs to create contours
“Applying a subtle bronzer along the sides of my legs creates the illusion of length and definition.”
And finally, to exfoliate her pins, Sue creates a coffee ground scrub in her kitchen.
“I mix used coffee grounds with brown sugar and almond oil to create a natural exfoliant,” she said.
“Massaging this blend onto my legs in circular motions smooths the skin and boosts circulation.”
