The 10 Best U.S. Cities for Single Men
If you're a single guy in America, where is the best place to live?
Blaine Anderson, a professional dating coach, is here to help with that.
The professional dating coach, who attended the University of Arizona, recently named the 10 best cities for single guys in response to a question from a fan on her Instagram Story. Anderson, who started out working in the travel industry, launched her dating coaching business, Dating By Blaine, a couple of years ago.
"Dating By Blaine technically started when I was an undergrad at the University of Arizona," she admitted. "My guy friends would ask me for dating advice about my sorority sisters. The BEST guys had the WORST luck with girls, and it confused me. I became obsessed with figuring out why. Do women hate nice guys? Or is there another problem?"
Anderson has since blown up on social media, with close to one million followers.

According to Anderson, here are the 10 best cities for single men in the United States, as of 2025:
- Austin, Texas
- San Diego, California
- Miami, Florida
- Denver, Colorado
- Washington, D.C.
- Nashville, Tennessee
- Chicago, Illinois
- Seattle, Washington
- New York, New York
- Los Angeles, California
It's a bit surprising to see New York and Los Angeles all the way down at No. 9 and No. 10, respectively. New York and Los Angeles are typically seen as the two most popular cities in the country for young professionals.
But it's incredibly expensive to live in those places, so perhaps that's why places like Austin and Nashville - which have been becoming more and more popular in recent years - have surged to the top of the list.
