NYC offers technical support to eligible small businesses
NEW YORK (PIX11) -- New York City is celebrating its third annual Business Improvement Development Day, a partnership between the city and small businesses looking to solve problems and expand opportunities.
The city's 76 business improvement districts encompass more than 25,000 storefronts across the five boroughs. More than $207 million in funding is given to businesses annually.
Businesses benefit from navigating things like the city's new trash pick-up rules to outdoor dining permits.
New York City is home to the largest number of business improvement districts in the nation. The idea is to keep them all thriving and look for opportunities to create new ones.
