Brotherhood Playoff Watch: Jayson Tatum & Boston Blow Another 20 Point Lead, Go Down 2-0 To The Knicks
This is clearly not what the defending champs had in mind for this series - or any series, really.
After Boston lost a 20 point lead and Game 1 against the Knicks Wednesday, Celtics logic and franchise DNA suggested it couldn’t happen again.
Well, it did, and that’s going to make life tough for Brotherhood member Jayson Tatum and his teammates.
As you probably know, Boston’s focus and only measure of accomplishment is championships and blowing 20 point leads in back-to-back games, much less going down 0-2 at home, doesn’t meet those standards.
Tatum finished with just 13 points on 5-19 from the floor.
And after shooting 15-60 on threes Wednesday night, the Celtics cut back on the threes, but the percentage was the same: 10-40.
