Costco is the place we go when we’re looking for new kitchen and home finds, but our latest obsession from the members-only store (get your membership here) is a total blast from the past. Costco has been stocking shelves with various items from the Tupperware Heritage Collection over the past year, and the nostalgia we feel for the pastel-colored storage containers should be studied. It’s like looking into the cupboards of our grandma’s kitchen when we were kids, but now we can get our own set of this vintage-style Tupperware at Costco. Even better? Since the Tupperware Heritage Collection Food Storage Container Set first started being sold at Costco last year, it’s actually dropped in price, according to one TikTok sleuth.
While browsing dozens of Costco videos on TikTok, as any savvy shopper should do before planning their weekend trip to the store, we came across a video from LifingWithLinda. There, we saw that not only is the Tupperware Heritage Collection Food Storage Container Set back in stock at Costco, it’s now just $49.97 in stores ($79.99 on Costco’s website). The previous set was $69.99.
This set comes with lidded containers in a variety of sizes, from canisters that are ideal for dry ingredient storage, to lidded bowls perfect for bringing your famous potato salad to the potluck. There are smaller containers, too, which are ideal for storing leftovers or using as mis-en-place bowls while you’re making dinner.
But that’s not the only vintage-style Tupperware item we’re currently obsessed with. Costco is also selling a Tupperware Heritage Collection Pitcher and Tumblers set in two colors, a light pink and a pale green. The pitcher has the classic button-top Tupperware lid, and the tumblers come with their own lids as well. That means you don’t have to worry about bugs flying into your drinks when you’re lounging outside this summer, and it also means you can use the cups to store leftovers, or even use them as snack containers for the kids when you’re out and about. The Tupperware Heritage Collection Pitcher and Tumblers set is $29.99 in Costco stores.
What if you don’t have a Costco membership? You can get all of these items on Amazon, but they’re a lot more expensive. The Tupperware Heritage Collection 36 Piece Food Storage Container Set will set you back $99.99, the Tupperware Heritage 1 Gallon Pitcher on it’s own is $28.99, you’ll have to buy a separate 12 piece lidded tumbler set for $29.99. Still, if you’re dying for that vintage Tupperware look and don’t have a Costco membership, it might be worth the investment.
Vintage-style Tupperware isn’t all Costco has in stock, so even if that’s what gets you to finally sign up for a membership, we can pretty much guarantee you’ll find lots of other gems as you cruise around the store.
