What FKA Twigs, Hunter Schafer, and Janicza Bravo Wore This Week
May, Met Gala, Miami Grand Prix, oh my! This week was filled to the brim with huge events, and celebrities were running between cities to get their fill of parties. While there were so many good looks at the Met Gala (and some just okay ones), there were plenty of great looks outside of fashion’s biggest night. Below, what your favorite celebrities wore this week.
Best Dressed: FKA Twigs
FKA Twigs stole the show at the opening of Gitano in New York in this sheer metallic gown.
Best Dressed Runner-up: Janicza Bravo
Tory Burch Foundation hosted its inaugural Founders Breakfast, a fundraising event that honored Martha Stewart this year. The star-studded group all looked amazing, including director Bravo, who rocked this bold red jacket.
Best Tastemaker: Hunter Schafer
When Schafer is in attendance, you know a look is bound to be served. I love this popped collar she pulled for the Prada Fifth Avenue Uomo cocktail party.
Best Pattern Play: Misty Copeland
To celebrate Mother’s Day, Burberry invited its community to a spring luncheon at the New York Botanical Garden, and Copeland completely matched the vibe and taught us to correctly pair gingham.
Best Hair: Vanessa Hong
Hong showed off a bleached-blonde jellyfish cut at the Loewe Perfumes Botanical Dinner with artisan perfumer Nuria Cruelles.
Most on Theme: Sarah Catherine Hook
Piper, what are you doing at the Chanel cruise 2025-26 show in Italy?
Best Glam: Avantika
Save Venice hosted its annual Un Ballo in Maschera — sponsored by Oscar de la Renta, Pasquale Bruni, Casa Tua, and Tilt Beauty — and actress Avantika looked absolutely stunning in this blue gown.
Best Off-Duty: Miranda Jansson-Kilbey
Matteu and Moda Operandi hosted a casual cocktail party to celebrate their collection launch, and guests looked so comfy and cool.
Best Group: Dee Poku, Samina Virk, Sally Holmes, Sali Christeson, and Amy Williams
These women styled denim in effortlessly cool ways for the Citizens of Humanity x Argent collab party.
Best Archival: Cindy Sherman
Do we count 2020 as archival? With how many shows there are a year, I do, and Sherman looks fabulous (and on theme) in this Gucci set at the New Museum’s Spring Gala.
Best Styling: Jess Willis
I get my styling advice from our very own style director, and you should too. She has the Jess Edit for a reason. Plus, she looked amazing at the We Are Ona pop-up dinner this week.
Best Je Ne Sais Quoi: Dylan Mulvaney
Cut cover girl Mulvaney was radiating at the Lush Resist Ball.
Best Accessorized: Jalen Ramsey
Ramsey celebrated the Miami Grand Prix with Louis Vuitton’s launch of Paris to Miami in major style.
Best Link-Up: Moncler’s Shuttle Guests
Now this is the shuttle bus I want to be on pre–Met Gala.
Best Nails: Busy Philipps
I love when a nail moment steals the show, and that’s exactly what Philipps pop of red nails did at the opening of Kallmeyer’s Madison Avenue Store.
