Schenectady man gets 15 years for dealing meth
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Schenectady man was sentenced on Friday to over 15 years in prison for dealing methamphetamine. The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) said Patrick Tucker, 28, will also serve four years of probation.
Tucker pleaded guilty in January to dealing meth between January and March 2023. Tucker admitted that while he was on pretrial release, he fled supervision and lead police on a high speed chase that was called off for safety reasons, the DOJ said.
Tucker had meth in his possession when he was arrested by United States Marshal Service deputies, court officials said. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration investigated the case.
