'Buffy' Co-Stars Sarah Michelle Gellar & Alyson Hannigan Reunite, Ending Feud Speculation
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan are slaying together!
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-stars reunited on Friday (May 9) at SiriusXM Studios and on Today in New York City.
The two came together for a good cause: Ask2BSure, an awareness campaign for meningitis through a team initiative with GSK.
“As a new parent, there’s so much information and you try to keep track,” Sarah explained on Today. “I think sometimes you’re intimidated. We all know that knowledge is power, but sometimes it’s hard to ask the questions. To be honest, I learned a lot about this from Alyson.”

“Which is so rare because she’s usually the one I go to. She knows everything,” Alyson added.
They also talked about the legacy of their hit show, and what they would tell the younger versions of themselves. Alyson admitted her kids haven’t seen Buffy yet, while Sarah‘s kids watched amid the lockdowns.
Sarah previously spoke to rumors of a feud, and their complicated relationship, back in 2022.
“Look, we worked really hard hours. We were young, we had ups and downs. Everybody had arguments. It wasn’t rosy. Nobody gets along all the time. Alyson and I had moments. There’s no question. But you’re young,” she explained.
“I was the one that was always working and sometimes I would be resentful of the fact that they didn’t have to work all the time,” Sarah admitted. “It ebbs and flows, and anyone that tells you they get along with everyone all the time, it’s just not true.”
“I think it would have been different if it was today,” she said of filming the show. “It would have been a very different relationship. But we have a great relationship now.”
