Albany police investigating 2 shots fired incidents
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany Police Department is currently investigating two alleged shots fired incidents that occurred early Sunday morning. Both reportedly took place at about 3:50 a.m.
In this first incident, Albany police responded to a home on Jennings Drive near North Second Street, authorities said. Upon arrival, officers allegedly found a 42-year-old woman inside the home with an injury to her arm from shrapnel. According to authorities, the injury was caused by shots being fired from outside into the residence.
Albany police also responded to the area of Grand Street and Madison Avenue for a report of shots fired. After arriving to the scene, officers allegedly found evidence consistent with gunfire. No injuries have been reported, the department said.
