Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift Spotted on Mother's Day
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift appear to have made a big decision on Mother's Day - where to spend the holiday.
The Kansas City Chiefs star and his iconic Eras Tour girlfriend, who have been dating for about two years, have had to make some tough holiday decisions during their relationship. Both Kelce and Swift are understandably busy, with the Kansas City Chiefs star playing in the National Football League and the Eras Tour star on a global tour.
On Mother's Day 2020, Kelce and Swift have finalized where they decided to spend the holiday.
Kelce and Swift have been spotted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. on Sunday. Swift, of course, is from Pennsylvania. Kelce, meanwhile, has strong ties to Philly, as his brother, Jason, and his family - wife Kylie and their four kids - still live in the area.
"The two stepped out in the city together on Sunday ... and, someone snapped a pic of them hanging out inside a restaurant," TMZ Sports reported.
Kelce, 35, was rumored to be considering retirement in the offseason, though he's decided to run it back for at least one more year. He and Swift are making the most of the offseason.
"I think the biggest thing is that I f------ love playing the game of football," he said. "I love playing. I still feel like I can play it at a high level and possibly at a higher level than I did last year. I don't think it was my best outing. I think I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them, especially if you look at my track record and how I've been in years past. I want to give it a good run. I got a bad taste in my mouth in how I ended last year and how well I was playing and how accountable I was to the people around me," Kelce said of his decision to return.
"I love so many people in Kansas City, both in that facility, in the community, and it's home for me now. I don't want to leave that life yet. I put in a lot of hard work and I put in a lot of focus into being the best that I can for K.C. Last year it didn't end well for us. I just feel like there's a responsibility in me to play out the contract that I initially signed, to give Kansas City and the Chiefs organization everything that I've got, and that's what I'm going to do, man."
Hopefully, it was a fun Mother's Day for the couple.
