Summer warmth holds strong through the week
What We’re Tracking
- Summer like warmth continues
- Lots of sunshine continues
- Breezy, warm, and dry next week
Temperatures soared into the mid-80s today, making for a warm Mother's Day across the area. Tonight, temperatures will fall into the low 50s, right around average for this time of year. Winds will remain light out of the east.
We’ll kick off the work week on another warm note, with highs climbing back into the mid-80s, well above our seasonal average in the upper 70s. Light easterly winds won’t offer much relief from the warmth, they will remain near 5 mph.
The summer-like temperatures and sunshine look to stick around through much of the upcoming work week, along with dry conditions. Southerly winds will pick up slightly by Tuesday, giving the air a true spring feel. It's a quiet week of weather, with cooler temperatures in the mornings and warmer afternoons. Low 90s will even make a return by mid next week.
