Lidl is selling a £19 lawn gadget that’s £80 cheaper than Bosch version & perfect for getting your garden summer ready
THE warm weather is here and if you’re spending the mini heatwave getting your garden ready for summer, a handy gadget may be for you.
Lidl shoppers can nab a bargain on a lawn tool, available at a fraction of the price of a similar Bosch buy.
If you’re looking for a way to perfect a clean and manicured lawn, this garden item is said to be worth the investment.
Lidl is currently selling the Parkside Electric Lawn Trimmer for just £24.99.
And this handy buy is even cheaper for Lidl Plus app users, at just £19.99.
It is designed for “quick and clean lawn trimming”, even in hard-to-reach areas.
With a 300W motor, the gadget features line spools that can be changed without tools.
It also includes a protective hood with a trimmer line cutter, as well as an ergonomic handle.
The gadget has an integrated power cable strain relief for the 10 metre power cable.
This buy, which hits the Lidl middle aisle on Thursday, May 15, boasts a cutting diameter of 23 centimetres.
The trimmer is similar to a Bosch buy, which has a slightly higher price.
Bosch’s Universal GrassCut 18V-26-500 is currently available for £100.
This buy is described as “flexible and comfortable” with a telescopic height adjustment.
However, this item has a lower wattage than the Lidl gadget, meaning it may not be as ideal for larger gardens.
The tilting head guarantees precise trimming under benches and hard-to-reach spots, and helps to protect your flowerbeds.
Unlike the Lidl buy, this gadget is fully cordless, making it easier to manage.
According to manufacturers, the battery life on this buy has the capacity to trim the edges of up to six tennis courts.
