Damp to dry outlook for Portland on Wednesday. Here's what to know
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Mist and light rain showers return Wednesday morning and cooler and cloudy skies remain around the Portland, Vancouver metro areas.
It would be smart to keep the rain gear nearby today. Early morning rain showers are expected to linger through the mid-morning hours. A drier afternoon is on tap as well with a few breaks in the clouds. That'll help high temps warm into the mid-60s today. Highs around 65 degrees are still below the average temperature in Portland for the middle of May.
Rain accumulation will be light and under one tenth of an inch throughout the day. The next round of rain is expected to hold off until Thursday evening.
The wet weather potential lasts through the end of the week as highs remain cooler than average. Rain accumulation will build up again Saturday with Sunday leaving behind slightly drier conditions.
Temps in the mid to upper 60s will last through the weekend. Highs will slowly start to build early next week as a few scattered showers remain.
