Hannaford Supermarkets to announce special fundraising campaign

COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Hannaford Supermarkets are expected to announce a new fundraising campaign Thursday morning at 10 a.m. The campaign will benefit the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.

According to the supermarket, food insecurity is growing across the nation. In 2024, the food bank distributed over 54 million pounds of food and is expected to distribute more in 2025. In the same year, Hannaford donated 27.5 million pounds of food to hunger relief organizations.

The campaign is set to be announced at the Wolf Road Hannaford Supermarket.
