Hayden Panettiere Reveals the Tyler Sheridan Series Role She Lost Out On
Hayden Panettiere is looking back at one role she wishes she landed.
In a new interview, the 35-year-old Nashville actress revealed the one role in a hit Tyler Sheridan series that she’s bummed she missed out on that ended up going to one of her Heroes co-stars.
Keep reading to find out more…“There was one audition I was supposed to do for Landman,” Hayden told Us Weekly. “Ali Larter‘s role is what I was reading for, and as much as I wanna work with Taylor Sheridan — who’s just genius and, the creation of his characters and their relationships and stuff, he really is a genius — I was like, ‘There’s no way I am getting this.’”
In Landman, Ali, 49, plays Angela Norris, the ex-wife of lead Billy Bob Thornton‘s Tommy Norris.
Hayden went on to note that she regrets not auditioning for the role and seeing where the process took her.
“I have to be careful to not pigeonhole myself as an actor,” Hayden explained. “[I have to] not judge what I am capable of or judge what others think that I know what others are gonna be looking for. You have to go for it. I’m just trying not to get out of my own way. … I can be a fool sometimes for not just doing it.”
If you missed it, Hayden also recently opened up about taking an unexpected four-year break from acting.
