'Final Destination: Bloodlines' Earns Rotten Tomatoes Score in Franchise History
It’s like the old saying goes, the sixth time is the charm. Or, at least it seems to be for the popular Final Destination movie series.
The marketing blitz ahead of the Friday, May 16, 2025, premiere of Final Destination: Bloodlines generated plenty of buzz around the movie. And if the early returns are any indication, the film has a very good chance of living up to the hype it built.
This marks the sixth installment in the series, and based on the reviews right out of the gate, Final Destination: Bloodlines has a chance to become the most popular film of the bunch.
Although it's early, the film, starring Tony Todd, Brec Bassinger and Richard Harmon among others, has earned high marks from both critics and fans on Rotten Tomatoes. It currently has 108 critic reviews with an impressive score of 93% and over 500 fan reviews, earning an 89% rating on the Popcornmeter.
As impressive as those marks are, as Collider detailed, they check in as far and away the highest received by any film in the Final Destination series.
