Mets Minors Recap: Jonah Tong Brilliant for Double-A Binghamton
Jonah Tong wasn’t perfect, but he was fantastic once again on Saturday. Making his first start since he struck out 13 in a combined perfect game, the 21-year-old Canadian threw six scoreless innings, struck out eight and lowered his ERA to 2.12 in leading Double-A Binghamton to a 12-0 victory over Hartford.
Meanwhile, the High-A Brooklyn Cyclones won their fifth straight game behind multi-hit games from A.J. Ewing and Jacob Reimer.

Zayas, 19, of the Dominican Republic, slashed .239/.354/.367 with three homers last year in 130 plate appearances for the FCL Mets. He went 1-for-3, increasing his OPS to .868 on Saturday. The Mets scored three runs on three hits, made three errors and remained stuck on three wins.
