Acadiana expects humid nights with little to no rain
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) - It will be another humid night around Acadiana as temperatures fall into the mid 70s. Clouds will move through the sky at times but rain is not expected. Patchy, dense fog could form early Monday morning but should not be much of a problem for the morning commute.
Monday will see more heat and humidity. After a muggy start, temperatures warm quickly and will likely reach near 90 degrees in the afternoon. Winds will gusts over 20 miles per hour at times. Once again, clouds will push through the area at times but rain is not expected.
Summer temperatures continue through Wednesday before a weak cold front brings showers by midday. Drier air arrives in the afternoon. Unfortunately, models have really backed off on how nice the weather will be behind the front. Mornings will likely see mid and upper 60s for temperatures with highs in the 90s.
