Caitlin Clark Sends Clear Message on Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift
Shortly before the 2025 WNBA season kicked off, Indiana Fever star Caitlin clark made headlines with her comment on Taylor Swift.
Swift's fanbase is one of the most loyal, and that seems to include Clark. The Indiana Fever star attended one of the singer's Eras Tour concerts before later joining Swift at a playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans in January.
"I think what people don't always realize about people with a certain spotlight, whether it's her, whether it's me, whether it's another professional athlete or a pop star, we're real people," Clark told ESPN about Swift.
"We're just having normal conversations as any other person in Arrowhead Stadium that night. She loves the Chiefs just as much as I do. I'm talking football with her. She loved it, and just like her passion, and honestly, probably one of the sweetest people I've ever been around. And everybody says that when you meet her, but it's really true. She just treats everybody with the same amount of kindness, and her family was great."
Fast forward to just a week later, Clark is back in the headlines for her comment about Swift and her Chiefs tight end boyfriend Travis Kelce. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year was asked if she thinks the pair will make it to a Fever game this season.
"Oh, gosh. I don't know. I mean, I hope so. They're on a nice 'in-vacation mode' right now. So, I hope they enjoy a nice little break out of the spotlight. But, I'm sure they'll be cheering for the Fever either way," Clark said, via For the Win.
Indiana opened the season with a blowout 93-58 victory over the Chicago Sky on May 17, but suffered its first loss of the season on May 20 in a 91-90 loss to the Atlanta Dream.
