Panera Bread Brings Back Lobster Roll, Lobster Mac & Cheese Starting This Week
Panera Bread is known for switching up their menu choices on a regular basis, and they're doing it again by bringing back not one by two favorite menu items beginning this week. These are quite interesting menu items, too, and show that Panera goes well beyond bread options.
Panera got its start in 1987 as St. Louis Bread Company, founded with a sourdough starter from San Francisco, according to the chain. It's grown over time, and there are currently 2217 Panera Bread locations in the United States.
Now, Panera is bringing back some seasonal seafood items just in time for summer.
Panera is relaunching both the Lobster Roll and Lobster Mac & Cheese this summer for a limited time. Both items were first introduced in 2019 and quickly developed a following. Beginning on May 21, Panera's Lobster Mac & Cheese and Lobster Roll will be available at select Panera cafes across the Northeast. No word yet on if these options will expand to other Panera Bread spot across the U.S.
For those who aren't at a Panera location that offers the seafood options, Panera has other seasonal items that are available now across the country. One is the Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken Salad, which features "crisp romaine and lettuce blend tossed in poppyseed dressing, topped with grilled chicken, mandarin oranges, fresh strawberries, blueberries, pineapple and toasted pecan pieces." Another is the Strawberry Chicken Caprese Salad, which offers "mixed greens and arugula tossed in balsamic vinaigrette, topped with grilled chicken, strawberries, fresh mozzarella, basil and toasted pecan pieces."
Panera also recently launched its Fromage Croissant Toast, available for a limited time, which offers "melty provolone and American cheeses, caramelized onions, arugula and garlic aioli drizzle" on a "warm, buttery croissant toast."
"We believe in serving delicious, freshly prepared, clean food made with carefully selected ingredients that we are proud to serve our own families," Panera states on their website.
