MLB Ground Crew Member's Lewd Gesture Caught on Live TV
A member of the Detroit Tigers' grounds crew got injured Wednesday afternoon at Comerica Park. But what happened moments later shocked everyone.
The incident unfolded during the seventh-inning stretch as the grounds crew prepped the infield once more. It's unclear how, but a member of the grounds crew got hurt somewhere along third base.
Video showed the injured grounds crew member in pain while holding his leg. San Francisco Giants manager Bob Melvin looked pretty concerned, to the point he was among the people surrounding the grounds crew member making sure he was OK as paramedics prepped a cart to get him off the field.
With the game delayed, cameras zeroed in on the grounds crew member, who then, for some reason, flipped off the camera. The gesture lasted at least five seconds before someone finally pushed his hand down.

The grounds crew member was eventually carted off and the game resumed. But the shocking gestured even left the home announcers baffled.
"You can't do that," an announcer says before chuckling and cameras turning away.
The Tigers went on to beat the Giants, 4-3, to improve to 37-20 for the best record in baseball.
