And Just Like That Season 3 Cast: Here's Where You've Seen The New Stars Before
Sex And The City fans rejoice (or, indeed, wince?), because And Just Like That is back on our screens as of this week.
The spin-off sequel has returned for its third season, picking back up with Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and new friends Seema and LTW as they navigate work, friendships and, of course, love in The Big Apple.
Critics have already suggested that Sex And The City devotees may have cause for celebration this season, with many claiming that And Just Like That is finally coming into its own in its third run, even showing glimmers of the iconic original that we all know and love.
And while previous season regulars Karen Pittman and Che Diaz have both confirmed they will not be returning for season three, in their place, viewers can also expect to see a few new faces, with a slate of guest stars and fresh season three newbies joining the cast.
Here’s where you might have seen them before…
Dolly Wells
After being introduced as Joy at the end of season two, the British actor has been bumped up to a series regular, rumoured to be another (yes, another!) potential love interest for Miranda.
Dolly co-wrote and starred in the TV series Doll & Em with Emily Mortimer, as well as co-writing and directing the 2019 comedy-drama film Good Posture.
Bridget Jones’s Diary fans will remember Dolly as Woney (reprising the role in this year’s Mad About The Boy), one half of the Smug Married union with her husband Cosmo.
Her other roles include Babygirl, The Outlaws, Blunt Talk, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Some Girls, Spy, The IT Crowd and Peep Show.
Sebastiano Pigazzi
Yes, poet and Hot Fellas delivery boy Giuseppi is back in season three.
Sebastiano Pigazzi’s past credits include TV shows The Offer, We Are Who We Are and For All Mankind, along with the 2021 film Time Is Up with Bella Thorne and Benjamin Mascolo.
He also featured in a 2023 short film by Francesca Scorsese (daughter of Martin and all-round TikTok icon, with whom he co-starred in We Are Who We Are) called Fish Out Of Water.
Mehcad Brooks
The Law & Order staple plays an “award-winning editor” who falls for Nicole Ari Parker’s character LTW in the new season of And Just Like That.
He’s also known for TV series like Desperate Housewives, Supergirl, Necessary Roughness, True Blood and the 2021 film Mortal Combat.
Jonathan Cake
British star Jonathan Cake has previously been in movies like First Knight, Krews and Brideshead Revisited, along with TV shows like Stargirl and Protection.
The Desperate-Housewives-to-And-Just-Like-That pipeline is clearly strong this season, as fans of the franchise will also remember Jonathan played police detective Chuck Vance in season seven and eight. In another casting coincidence, he was also briefly in Law & Order – like his new co-star Mehcad Brooks – though only for two episodes.
Logan Marshall-Green
Logan plays a mysterious new man on the block, revealed after on-set images emerged of his character alongside Carrie Bradshaw, though we don’t know exactly who he is just yet.
He’s known for playing Trey Atwood in The OC, and has also been in 24, Traveler, Big Sky, Shadowplay, Damnation, Dark Blue, and movies like The Invitation, Devil and Prometheus.
Rosie O’Donnell
The US talk show host and comedian guest stars as a character named Mary in the new season, which some fans have speculated could be Miranda’s new love interest after her breakup with Che.
Breaking through on the TV series Star Search in 1984, Rosie later rose to prominence with the Emmy-winning daytime talk show The Rosie O’Donnell Show, later joining women’s talk show The View for a couple of stints as co-host and moderator (each coming with a side of controversy).
You might have seen her in films like A League Of Their Own, Sleepless In Seattle and The Flintstones Movie. As for TV, those credits include Gimme a Break!, Stand By Your Man, The Fosters, SMILF, Russian Doll and American Gigolo.
Also, remember the gorilla Terk in Disney’s Tarzan? That was also Rosie.
Patti LuPone
The Broadway legend joins And Just Like That as Giuseppe’s mum in season three.
A legend of the stage with numerous Tony, Olivier and Grammy Awards to her name, she’s performed defining roles in Evita, Gypsy, Company and Sunset Boulevard.
She also starred in the TV drama series Life Goes On and has made brief appearances in Frasier, Ugly Betty, Will & Grace, Glee, Girls and 30 Rock.
In recent years, you might have seen Patti on screen in Penny Dreadful, Agatha All Along, Hollywood, Beau Is Afraid, American Horror Story, The School For Good And Evil.
Kristen Schaal
Fans of Bob’s Burgers will of course know Kristen as the voice of Louise Belcher. She’s also delivered memorable voice work in Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, Big Mouth and BoJack Horseman.
On screen, you’ll recognise her across film and TV for Norbit, The Muppets, Flight Of The Conchords, 30 Rock, The Last Man On Earth, The Mysterious Benedict Society and What We Do in the Shadows.
She was also in single episodes of Mad Men, Modern Family and Glee.
