Legendary Rock Band Teases 'Filthy' Rehearsal Ahead of Reunion Tour
In exactly a month, after 16 years of not being an actual band, Oasis will once again hit the road for a massive tour. In the move that shocked the world in 2024, the previously feuding Gallagher brothers — Noel and Liam — have mended fences to seemingly give millions of fans exactly what they want: a rock and roll band steeped in 1990s swagger. But up until today, it was unclear if the band had actually started rehearsals, prompting some to already start worrying.
But on June 3, 2025, singer Liam Gallagher confirmed that the rehearsals with the full band had started. On X, the younger Gallagher tweeted, "We have lift off...sounded f*cking filthy..."
For Oasis fans, this is not only good news, but also a sigh of relief. If Liam can tweet enthusiastically that the band sounds "filthy," then that has to be a good thing, right? Just a few years back, he'd more likely be tweeting about how much he hated his older brother, Noel, the guitarist and songwriter of Oasis.
We have LIFT OFF Rastas sounded fucking FILTHY I’ll tell thee that there for hardly anything LG x

Recently, the entire lineup for the Oasis reunion tour was seemingly confirmed. Here's what it looks like, according to numerous reports, including NME:
- Liam Gallagher on lead vocals
- Noel Gallagher on backing vocals and guitar
- Gem Archer on guitar
- Andy Bell on bass
- Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs on guitar
- Joey Waronker on drums
All members of the band have toured with Oasis at some point in the past, with the exception of Waronker. Previously, Waronker has played with REM and Thom Yorke.
The Oasis Live '25 tour kicks off on July 4, 2025. It is currently sold out worldwide.
