‘Summer House’ Veteran Paige DeSorbo Announces Exit From Show After 7 Seasons
Paige DeSorbo is leaving Summer House. The reality TV veteran announced her exit from the Hamptons-based reality show hours after the Season 9 reunion aired on Bravo.
In a post to her Instagram stories on June 5, DeSorbo wrote, “I have a little life update for you: I've made the decision not to return to Summer House.”
The reality TV veteran described her seven years on the show as “one of the most rewarding chapters of [her] life.”
“You've seen me grow up over these last 7 summers,” the 32-year-old added. ‘I'll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me. But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it's time for this chapter to close."
DeSorbo, who co-hosts the Giggly Squad podcast with former co-star Hannah Berner, also promised that fans have “not seen the last” of her.
DeSorbo previously hinted that her time on Summer House could be up.
In an April interview with Glamour, DeSorbo admitted that she was getting close to aging out of the party-themed reality show. “There’s an end date for me at some point,” she said. “With the lifestyle of Summer House specifically, I’m probably not fitting into the original show idea anymore. Whenever I see a comment that’s like, ‘She’s a little too old to be on this,’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, I kind of am.”
DeSorbo has made headlines over the past six months for her high-profile breakup from Southern Charm star Craig Conover. The split turned ugly, and on the Summer House reunion, she vowed that she would never say Conover’s name again.
The 9th season of Summer House starred DeSorbo, Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Carl Radke, Lindsay Hubbard, Gabby Prescod, West Wilson, Jesse Solomon, and newcomers Lexi Wood and Imurul Hassan.
Season 10 of Summer House will likely begin filming in July.
