Jelly Roll's Wife Struggles Amid IVF Journey

Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie Xo, have been trying to conceive their first child together through IVF, but it does not seem to be going well and they may be forced to stop.

During the most recent episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast, Bunnie Xo opened up a bit about some of the side effects of the IVF that have left her feeling like she is “rotting from the inside out.”

“It has been the worst thing I’ve ever been through in my life,” she admitted on the podcast.

Bunnie Xo admitted that she has dealt with cold sweats, nausea, blood sugar crashes, and pain. She said she revealed that she has been taking Lupron, a drug her father also took during his cancer battle.

“I saw how dad felt on Lupron, and now that I have actually gone through it, I feel so bad that I was not more understanding with my dad,” she said. “I have almost gone to the hospital probably 10 times in the past 48 hours.”

Though she has finished her second round of IVF treatments, the side effects have been so severe that she admits she may not even be able to do her scheduled egg retrieval and is considering quitting – though she's not ready to make that decision just yet.

“I know this is gonna sound terrible, but I feel like I’m wasting my life,” she said. “I feel like I’m watching my life fly by while I’m stuck at home having to do these (expletive) cycles, and it’s beyond frustrating. But I guess, you know, it’s the sacrifice you have to make if you really wanna have a baby.

“I was praying today in the shower, and I was just bawling my eyes out and praying, 'Thank you, Lord. I don't know if I can do this. Maybe having a baby isn't in our cards. I don't know. I'm not a [expletive] and I'm not a quitter, so we'll figure out what the next steps are after this week,” she added.

Obviously, this is a difficult situation for Bunnie Xo, Jelly Roll, and their family as they balance the desire for a new child with the toll the process is taking on her health.
