Donald Trump Reacts to Elon Musk's Criticism, Claims Musk Is Upset About 2 Things
Donald Trump is reacting to Elon Musk‘s comments.
Earlier in the week, the 53-year-old richest man in the world criticized the Trump administration’s “Big Beautiful Bill.”
“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it,” he tweeted.
Elon added, “It will massively increase the already gigantic budget deficit to $2.5 trillion (!!!) and burden America citizens with crushingly unsustainable debt.”
“Congress is making America bankrupt,” he said.
Now, Trump is reacting, claiming there’s 2 things that Elon Musk is upset about..

“I’ve always liked Elon,” he said, but was “very surprised” by Musk‘s recent comments.
“Elon’s upset because we took the EV mandate, which was a lot of money for electric vehicles and they’re having a hard time with electric vehicles and they want us to pay billions of dollars in subsidy. Elon knew this from the beginning,” Trump continued.
Trump then apparently spilled that Musk is upset because Musk‘s ally, Jared Isaacman, was pulled from contention to lead NASA.
Isaacman is apparently a Democrat and Trump said, “I didn’t think it was appropriate…He wanted that person, a certain person. I can understand why he’s upset.”
About the state of their relationship, Trump said they had a “great relationship” but “I don’t know if we will anymore….I’m very disappointed because Elon knew the inner workings of this bill. I’m very disappointed in Elon. I’ve helped Elon a lot.”
