2 Troy residents accused of having a pound of narcotics
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two Troy residents were arrested following the execution of search warrants on Wednesday, June 4. Alfonza Wells, 44, and Alyssa Esteves, 35, face multiple charges.

- Two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance

- Two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia

The Rensselaer County Sheriff's Office said the search warrant executions were a part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. Investigators reported finding about 17 ounces, or over a pound, of fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine with drug packaging materials and U.S. currency.
Both suspects were arraigned and placed in Rensselaer County Jail without bail.
