New multi-use path coming to Freemans Bridge Road
SCOTIA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A new multi-use path is coming to Scotia. It will be on the west side of Freemans Bridge, running from Freemans Bridge Road to Dutch Meadows.
The sidewalk will be made of multi-use asphalt by Molloy Construction. The contract for the project is worth almost $1.3 million.
Running 4,800 feet long and eight feet wide, the path can be used for walking, biking, and more. This is only one part of the project, with the east side part still being in the design phase.
