ESPN's Lisa Salters is Dating Prominent WNBA Coach
Fans who have watched high profile sports on ESPN will be familiar with reporter Lisa Salters. She's been a sideline reporter on "Monday Night Football" for several years, and she's also a contributor to the network's NBA coverage.
Salters is one of the most well-respected names in her industry, and the same could be said for her partner.
Salters is in a relationship with Stephanie White, the head coach of the WNBA's Indiana Fever. White joined the team ahead of the 2025 season, replacing Christie Sides as the franchise embraces Caitlin Clark as its star.
White and Salters have been open about their partnership on social media, posting photos together and addressing one another on holidays. The couple has four teenage sons and have shared photos of them on social media, including a Halloween set of pictures from late last October.
Clark and the Fever are looking to get back to the postseason in 2025 after her stellar rookie campaign. In addition to White as the new head coach, they brought in top talent in the offseason, some of whom have experience in the Finals.
Salters, who missed time during the NFL season and is expected miss Sunday's Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
"We miss the heck out of Lisa Salters who is tending to a family matter," Joe Buck said when Salters was away from the crew during the NFL season.
"Hope to have her back next week, or whenever she gets things settled. We're certainly thinking of her on this night, as we were a week ago."
"I am incredibly proud and honored to return home to Indiana and lead the Fever during such a pivotal moment in this franchise's history, as well as during such an important time throughout women's athletics," White said after taking the Fever job.
"This franchise has and always will be committed to winning and I look forward to working every day to help deliver another WNBA title to the greatest basketball fans in the world."
We'll see how things go for the Fever during the rest of the season, and for White and Salters as they continue their relationship.
