Bryce spoke to The Independent about how it feels when a movie like Argylle or The Lady in the Water get bad reviews. According to the Deep Cover actress, she doesn’t let it get to her.
“You can always see it coming while you’re making it. I’ve never been shocked when something doesn’t work. But I’m just an actor – you’re there to serve a director’s vision. If a movie doesn’t turn out the way that you envisioned, you can barely feel disappointed because it’s not yours. You’re not the person who’s building the thing,” she told the publication.
Bryce went on to share that her director father, Ron Howard, isn’t able to disconnect from projects in the same way.
“It blows him away that I don’t do that,” Bryce told The Independent about the fact that her father feels devastated each time a project he directs doesn’t do well.
Bryce and the rest of the Deep Cover cast were recently joined on the red carpet by a very special guest.
