Tottenham fans who have been longing to see Mousa Dembele play football again have just got their wish, with the former Spurs man dominating the Legends vs Creators match in the Ballers League.
While many players made a bigger impact at Tottenham Hotspur over recent decades than Mousa Dembele, on pure talent alone, the Belgian arguably outranks every one of those legends.
One only needs to listen to how his former Spurs and Belgian teammates talk about the midfielder, with almost every single player naming him as the best player in the side.
The players who came up against the former Tottenham man were in awe of him, with Antonio Rudiger recently admitting that he had never seen anyone do what Dembele did.

The Belgian took part in the Ballers League this week, where a team of legends went up against a team of content creators in a five-a-side contest.
Unsurprisingly, the former Tottenham man proved impossible to dispossess and went past players like they weren’t even there.

Dembele praised for his outstanding showing
The Sun handed Dembele a rating of 9 out of 10 for his performance in the match and waxed lyrical about the way he dictated play.
The outlet wrote about the former Tottenham man: “The man of the moment looked like he still had it, running the show in the middle of the park for his time.
“You could still see echoes of the player he once was, impossible to get the ball away from and such a powerful presence with the ball at his feet. Dominated for large parts of the game and still had the silky feet and ability to pick a pass that he always had.”
Supporters will be hoping to see Dembele feature for Spurs Legends at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium soon.
