Amazon's Extended Prime Day Offers Major Benefits for Young Shoppers
Amazon is making some big changes to its Prime Day this summer and young shoppers stand to benefit the most.
Amazon announced that it is extending Prime Day to four days, from July 8-11, and there will be new deals for members each and every day, including massive discounts on top brands.
Young shoppers between the ages of 18-24 also stand to benefit this year. Amazon is enhancing its Prime for Young Adults membership, which will offer new perks such as 5% cash back for a limited time.
Members can even stack savings by using the Prime Visa, which is huge for young shoppers who have to go back to school after the summer.
Amazon will also be offering a free six-month trial of Prime for Young Adults, which will cost $7.49 per month, or $69 per year after the trial.
"We're also excited about our enhanced Prime for Young Adults membership, giving 18-to-24-year-olds the ability to enjoy new exclusive perks like 5% cash back for a limited time, plus new shopping features that make discovering personalized savings easier than ever," said the vice president of Amazon Prime, Jamil Ghani.
When it comes to back-to-school supplies, Prime Day will offer students up to 40% off on school supplies, as well as school tech as cheap as $15.
