Hailee Steinfeld Shares New Wedding Photos, Gives In-Depth Details About Her Big Day
Hailee Steinfeld is giving an in-depth look into her wedding after recently marrying Josh Allen!
The newlyweds got married on May 31 in southern California and Hailee just shared new photos from the wedding, plus a newsletter all about what happened on the big day.
“It felt like love was running through the veins of every tree at our gorgeous venue in Santa Barbara. Our family and friends coming together amplified it,” Hailee began in issue #049 of Beau Society.
Hailee‘s wedding photographer was the only person capturing photos as no phones were allowed. She wrote, “We had a no-phone wedding — we wanted everyone to come and be present. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions we made.”

Hailee and Josh started their wedding day together instead of keeping a distance.
“On the morning of our wedding, Josh and I met for breakfast just before 7. I’m so glad we did that. I don’t think I could’ve gone the whole day without seeing him! We had a little spread, which included my favorite lemon ricotta pancakes,” she said.
Hailee had the best things to say about her dress.
“Okay, Josh says we have to talk about my dress now because I ‘stunned’ him when I got to the altar ????. It’s easily the most perfect gown I’ve ever put on my body. Tamara Ralph designed it custom for me. Her tailoring is exquisite. We were on the tightest timeline. Six weeks before the wedding, my mom and I flew to Paris straight from the Sinners premiere in London for the fitting. I really had to lean into the whole ‘trust the process’ thing and thank God for Rob, Mariel, Tamara, and her team for pulling it all together in time. On our wedding day, when I put on this dress, I actually lost my breath. I’ve never felt more like myself and more beautiful,” she said. “I added these long, sheer gloves that I’m obsessed with. They’re so delicate you can actually see my nail shape through the fabric (shout out Tom Bachik)! My veil was French Chantilly lace, and my incredible earrings were Mikimoto.”
Josh wore Tom Ford and Hailee says he “looked like the man of every dream I’ve ever had.”
Mother nature played a minor role in the wedding!
“It was blue skies, 75 and sunny the entire weekend. Except the coolest thing happened after we got married: We walked off the aisle to ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)’, and it started thundering. No rain, just thunder and lightning. Magical,” she said.
Hailee wrote, “Entering our reception for the first time was unforgettable. So much JOY. And the flowers! The red candelabras! The dance floor! The stage! The chandeliers?!! All of our people! The flow of the reception was dance, speech, cry, dance, eat, dance, speech, cry, dance, etc. Our parents and siblings gave the most touching speeches. Plus, our friend Amanda recited a gorgeous poem she wrote for us that day.”
