As tributes from fans and other Food Network stars pour in for the 55-year-old chef, the comments of the unidentified 911 caller shed some light on what happened.
The caller said that Burrell "went into cardiac arrest," TMZ reported, citing a representative from the New York Fire Department as the source.
Burrell was found unresponsive in her Brooklyn home on June 17, TMZ noted. Her death was unexpected and shocked fans and colleagues alike who enjoyed her feisty and positive personality on Worst Cooks in America and other shows.
