Iranian Leader Khamenei: “We Will Not Surrender”
Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei, after days of absence, strongly declared that Iran will not surrender, warning against foreign military intervention.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei addressed recent threats from U.S. President Donald Trump in a televised message after five days of absence. In his message, Khamenei strongly rejected Trump’s comments, stating that “the Iranian nation is unyielding” and warning of “irreparable damage” should the U.S. intervene militarily.
Khamenei also responded to Trump’s statements about knowing his whereabouts and demanding “unconditional surrender” from Iran. He said, “Wise individuals who understand Iran and its history never speak to this nation in a language of threats.”
The Supreme Leader further emphasized that Iran will resist “imposed war” and “imposed peace” and will never surrender to any power. His remarks were aimed at reaffirming Iran’s stance amidst growing tensions.
This message was released on the sixth day of military confrontations between Iran and Israel, with Israeli airstrikes continuing to target Iran’s nuclear and military sites, including the Natanz facility.
Khamenei’s five-day absence had sparked speculation about his health and the stability of Iran’s leadership. According to Reuters, the series of Israeli attacks and the deaths of several senior commanders have created a significant rift in Iran’s military leadership.
The ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran has reached a critical juncture, with both sides intensifying their operations. Khamenei’s address underscores Iran’s unwavering stance and its readiness to face any external pressure, indicating that the leadership is determined to continue the fight.
