Watch: Trailer for Jeremy Allen White’s Bruce Springsteen Biopic Released
On Wednesday morning, the official trailer for Jeremy Allen White's Bruce Springsteen biopic was unveiled
White, 34, plays "The Boss" in the upcoming film Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, which chronicles the New Jersey rock icon as he records his sixth album Nebraska, which was released in 1982.
Also starring Jeremy Strong as Jon Landau, Springsteen's longtime manager and record producer, Stephen Graham as Springsteen's father and Odessa Young as Faye, his love interest, the film "chronicles the making of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 'Nebraska' album when he was a young musician on the cusp of global superstardom, struggling to reconcile the pressures of success with the ghosts of his past," according to an official synopsis.
"Recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, the album marked a pivotal time in his life and is considered one of his most enduring works — a raw, haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe," the synopsis adds.
Directed by Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart, Black Mass, Antlers) and produced by 20th Century Studios, Deliver Me From Nowhere will hit theaters in America on Oct. 24.

White, known for his work in Shameless and The Bear, said at CinemaCon back in April that playing Springsteen was "incredible, challenging, and a dream come true."
"I feel really lucky. We all had Bruce’s blessing," White said. "The film tells the story of a very pivotal moment, Bruce struggling to reconcile the pressures of success versus his past."
Deliver Me From Nowhere is based on the Warren Zanes' 2023 biography of the same name.
Both Springsteen and Landau were intimately involved in the project, with Springsteen making multiple appearances to visit White on set throughout his home state of New Jersey.
