Second arrest made in fatal Clifton Park stabbing
CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office announced that a minor was arrested on Tuesday in connection to the homicide of 20-year-old Simon Brault of Clifton Park. The teen, whose name wasn't released due to their age, was charged with first-degree assault, a class B felony.
The minor is accused of working alongside Jaiden Ildefonso to intentionally injure Brault with a weapon. Brault died at Albany Medical Center after being found with stab wounds on Beresford Road on May 31.
Ildefonso was taken into custody on June 1 after being identified as a suspect and was charged with second-degree murder. The unnamed minor was arraigned at Saratoga County Court before being released to pretrial services ahead of further court proceedings. The investigation remains ongoing.
